The total number and composition of power supply plugs can be so different today, depending on the purpose, that some manufacturers have drawn a simple but effective consequence from this: there is no longer a single cable firmly installed from the power supply. Optionally, only the unquestionably required plugs will be permanently installed. For all other plugs, there are sockets that are distributed and equipped on the housing. Thus, on such a power supply, power cables are required exclusively with plugs, because with 8-pin PCIe connectors - as with this cable - there are identical sockets on the case and on the video card. This cable features a low-level 8-pin PCIe connector for connecting to the power supply jack, as well as two modular 6+2 pin PCIe connectors for powering either two graphics cards or a dual-power graphics card. The modular design allows all three possible combinations: 6+6 pins, 6+8 pins, 8+8 pins.
